1. What are the benefits of joining the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine?
Joining the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine will allow you to access the members only area of GooGooDolls.com, which is called the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine. This area will contain the latest information regarding the Goo Goo Dolls, including regular news updates, pictures, exclusive audio and video clips, and much more. Some of the benefits of being a member include:
  • Members will be able to register for Meet and Greet opportunities for most Goo Goo Dolls concerts.
  • Members can access the Goo Goo Dolls online moblog and exclusive personal photos and videos sent by the band.
  • Members can submit questions for the Goo Goo Dolls monthly Question and Answer session - answers will only be available to members.
  • Members can participate in the official Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine forums and chat room and talk with other members.
  • Members can access exclusive photo galleries, video clips and audio clips sent in by the Goo Goo Dolls themselves.

2. How do I join the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine?
You can join the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine by registering with GooGooDolls.com and purchasing a one year subscription for $30.00, either online using a credit card, or by sending a check through the mail. Simply click here and follow the instructions... and here are instructions, just in case:


  • Start by registering an account at http://secure.googoodolls.com. The username and password you choose will be the way you identify yourself and enter the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine member site. Please note - your Real Name and Address MUST match your credit card billing information if you plan on paying by credit card. Your username CANNOT be changed once you purchase a subscription.
  • Once you are registered, you will be automatically signed in and then you can add a subscription to the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine to your account. If you aren't signed in for some reason, go back to the home page and enter your username and password to sign in. Add a subscription by clicking on the "Inner Machine" entry under "Our Products" on the upper-left navigation bar.
  • Click to add a subscription and go to our secure server for checkout. Now you will be able to purchase your subscription with your credit card through our secure server, or you can inform us of your intention to pay by check or money order.
  • If you paid by credit card, you will get an email confirming your purchase, and a second email when the transaction has been successfully processed. This email will inform you that you can now access the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine area and provide detailed directions.
  • If you paid by check or money order, you will get an email with information on how to send us your payment. Remember, checks and money orders must be drawn on US funds, and please be sure to include your username on the check. You will receive another email once we have recieved your payment and it has processed, informing you that you can now access the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine site. This can take up to 1-2 weeks; allow an additional 4-6 weeks for your check or money order to reach us.

    How can I change my email address? My username? Other account details?
    Once you have purchased a subscription, usernames can only be changed for valid technical reasons. Other details, such as your email address, mailing address, etc., can be changed by logging into your account at http://secure.googoodolls.com/ and clicking on "Account Details Edit". Please note, if you paid via credit card, you must leave your First Name, Last Name, and billing address so that it matches the billing information for your credit card in order for automatic renewal to work.

    I've purchased a subscription and want a refund.
    We cannot offer refunds once you have purchased a subscription. It is your responsibility to determine if the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine meets your needs BEFORE registering; if you are uncertain about any features or what you are paying for, just e-mail us at innermachine@googoodolls.com. Once you have signed up, a refund cannot be given. If, however, you (i) are having problems accessing the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine area of the Site, (ii) have contacted us and have exhausted all support options that we provide to assist you with technical problems, and (iii) are still unable to access the Goo Goo Dolls Inner Machine area of the Site, we will refund a pro rata portion of your membership fee based on the time remaining in your annual membership period. These are the ONLY circumstances under which you will receive a refund of your membership fee. In no event will you receive a refund if we terminate your membership.


    How do auto-renewals work, how can I make sure I don't get charged again?
    If you paid by credit card, your account will automatically be renewed on the one year anniversary date of your subscription. If you paid by check or money order, an invoice will be generated and emailed to you; your account will be suspended until your renewal payment is received. If you wish to cancel your subscription, you must do so prior to the one year anniversary date to avoid be charged again. You can cancel your subscription anytime by logging into your account at http://secure.googoodolls.com/, clicking on "Active Subscriptions List" and then clicking the "CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION" button.

    If you paid by credit card and wish to keep your subscription, but change the card or update it because it has expired, login to your account at http://secure.googoodolls.com and then click "billing Details Edit" and modify your card information.


    How do meet and greets and pre-sales work for members?
    Meet and greets will generally become available 2-4 weeks prior to a concert, and will be available for most concerts. There are 15 spaces available for each meet and greet, and these will be given out on a lottery basis. Members can register for the meet and greet, and 15 members will be chosen randomly and win meet and greet passes for each show. They will be announced between 2-7 days before the show, and notified via email and on the Inner Machine news page. Check the member site frequently to see when a new meet and greet is made available on the Inner Machine site tour page. There are a few important points:
    - These are passes for a special INNER MACHINE meet and greet, not tickets to the show. You must already have tickets to the show.
    - The pass is good for you alone. Passes are not transferable and you will need ID. Members 12 years old or under may bring a guardian with you.
    - The band will NOT be signing autographs; one photo will be taken and made available online.
    - Each member may win up to 2 (two) meet and greets per year.

    Pre-sales will be made available to INNER MACHINE members via the tour page if and when available. Pre-sales will be made available to INNER MACHINE members for most, but not all, concerts. There are a limited number of pre-sale tickets available; joining the INNER MACHINE is not a guarantee that you will get pre-sale tickets for any show, just the opportunity for some shows.

    Our pre-sales are currently NOT done through ticketmaster; you will need to access INNER MACHINE pre-sales via the INNER MACHINE site on the tour page. There is a two-ticket limit per show. Tickets purchased through fan club presales are the best seats available to us and are assigned on a first come, first served basis.

    Why am I not getting email from googoodolls.com, such as the newsletter, the password reset email, or the meet and greet confirmation emails?
    Some users have not been getting emails from googoodolls.com. Please check the following PRIOR to sending your password reset request or meet and greet application to ensure you will get the appropriate emails. Check our list below if you do not already know how to remedy the issue with spam, bulk, or junk mail folders.

    ISPs
    Some email providers filter messages based on content, subject line, or the sender's address and may put your email into the a bulk or junk mail folder. Please make sure @googoodolls.com is on your "approved sender" list or "whitelist" and/or in your "address book." Occasionally an ISP will institute mail controls that block your email completely without your knowledge. We often do not even receive notice of such a block. The only solution to this problem is for you to be aware what triggers your ISPs blockage and make sure they understand you want to receive our email.

    Spam Blockers/Filters and Email Software
    If you have recently installed a new email software or a new program to help defeat, make sure you check the settings. The "defaults" are often much more restrictive than you might wish. Please see our very general suggestions to get started.

    _Checking for Lost Mail_
    AOL Users:
    Please check your "Spam" folder. If you find our email there, select the confirmation message and click "This is Not Spam." This will help future messages to get through. To avoid accidentally filtering our future messages:
    1. Click Mail in the toolbar at the top of your AOL window
    2. Select Block Unwanted Mail
    3. Click Custom Sender List
    4. Select Allow only the senders and domains listed below
    5. Enter this domain @googoodolls.com
    6. Click Save

    Hotmail Users: Please check your "Junk email" folder. If you find our email there, select the confirmation message and click "Not Junk." This will help future messages to get through. To avoid accidentally filtering our future messages:
    1. Click Mail, then Options (next to the Help link)
    2. Click Junk email Protection
    3. Click Custom Sender List
    4. Click Safe List
    5. Enter this domain: @googoodolls.com
    6. Click Add

    Yahoo Users: Please check your "Bulk Mail" folder. If you find our email there, select the confirmation message and click "Not Spam." This will help future messages to get through.

    Gmail Users: Please check your "Spam" folder. If you find our email there, select the confirmation message and click "Not Spam." This will help future messages to get through.

    Outlook 2003 Users:
    1. Select Actions from the top menu bar, then select Junk email followed by Junk email Options.
    2. Select Safe Senders, then Add.
    3. Type @googoodolls.com and click OK.
    4. Type and click OK.
    5. Click OK.


    Can I post Inner Machine content on my personal site or other sites? Can I share my account with a friend?
    In short, no, you cannot. You paid for your subscription, and it is unfair to yourself and everyone else that paid for the site and it's content to distribute it freely. You agreed to the Terms of Service when you joined, which states explicitly that account sharing and content distribution are direct violations of the Terms of Service and will result in your account being suspended without refund. All visits to the site via your account are logged and your account may be used only on one computer at a time. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and you are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your password.
